Developer pitch portal

Send us the build. We will read it.

One form, eight required fields, no account, no fee. Your submission is stored on our own server and read by a person, and the completeness meter beside it scores the submission — never the game, and never your chances.

Before you send this

After Midnight Enterprises ApS (Aarhus C, Denmark, CVR 38764845) is the data controller for what you type here. We use it to read and assess your pitch, and to reply to you about it. It is not used for marketing, not sold, and not shared with anyone for their own purposes.

What we collect
Studio name, contact e-mail, game title, genre, target platforms, your summary, a build or video link, a design document link, and the funding band you selected.
Lawful basis
Article 6(1)(b) — steps taken at your request before entering into a contract. Every field on this form is required, because that basis only covers what is necessary for the step you are asking us to take.
How long we keep it
24 months from our last exchange about it, then deleted. Ask sooner at info@aftermidnight.enterprises.
Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection (Article 21). Complaints go to Datatilsynet, the Danish supervisory authority. Details in the privacy policy.

There is no consent tick-box on this form. Consent is a different lawful basis under Article 6(1)(a), and consent you would have to give in order to send the form would not be freely given under Article 7(4) — so we tell you the basis instead of asking you to agree to it.

What is recorded without you typing it
  • A truncated one-way hash (SHA-256) of your IP address, with the time of each submission.

To count submissions per sender so the forms cannot be flooded. The raw address is never written to the database, and the hash cannot be turned back into it.

Basis: Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in keeping the forms usable. · Kept: The counter file is deleted 24 hours after your last submission.

Linked to your submission? Yes — the same hash is stored in the row with your submission, so an abusive sender can be identified and removed. It is deleted with the row.

  • Ordinary web-server log lines: IP address, date and time, the URL requested, the HTTP status and the browser user-agent string.

Security, abuse investigation and diagnosing errors. This is recorded for every request to every page of this site, not only when you send a form.

Basis: Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in operating the service securely. · Kept: 30 days, then deleted.

Linked to your submission? No. Server logs are not joined to submissions and are not used to build a profile of you.

  • An application event log recording that a submission was stored, with its reference — no names, addresses, message text or IP addresses.

To detect failures, such as a submission that could not be saved.

Basis: Article 6(1)(f) — our legitimate interest in a service that works. · Kept: 30 days.

Linked to your submission? Only by the reference shown to you after sending, which on its own identifies nobody.

No analytics or advertising tag is loaded on this site, and using this form makes no request to any third party. Requests go to our own server only.

Target platforms

Submission completeness

0% · Just started

Keep going — a build link and a summary do most of the work.

  • Studio name (8)
  • Contact e-mail (8)
  • Game title (8)
  • Genre (8)
  • Target platforms (12)
  • Pitch summary (20)
  • Playable build or gameplay video (20)
  • Design document (16)

This measures your submission against a published rubric, nothing else. It is not a score for your game, not an estimate of funding, and not an indication of whether we will make an offer.

Submissions are stored on our own server. The mailbox info@aftermidnight.enterprises is being set up, so use this form rather than e-mail for now.

What happens next

  1. 01 The submission is stored on our own server and a reference is shown to you on screen. Keep it — it is how you ask for the record to be deleted.
  2. 02 A person reads it during office hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (Europe/Copenhagen).
  3. 03 You get an answer at the address you gave us. Most answers are no, and they are still answers.
  4. 04 If we go further, the next step is a written milestone plan and a draft agreement — never a verbal commitment.

We publish no response-time guarantee. A number nobody measures is a promise nobody keeps, and a promised turnaround is exactly the sort of claim an advertising audit asks a company to evidence.

How the completeness meter works

Eight factors, weighted, summing to 100. The server recomputes the same score when your submission arrives, so the number in our inbox is ours rather than yours.

  • Studio nameWho is submitting.8
  • Contact e-mailWhere the answer goes.8
  • Game titleA working title is fine.8
  • GenreThe closest match; “Other” is a real answer.8
  • Target platformsWhere you want it to ship.12
  • Pitch summaryWhat the game is, who it is for, and what state it is in. Half credit under 240 characters.20
  • Playable build or gameplay videoA link we can open without an account.20
  • Design documentA GDD, a one-pager or a deck — a link, not an attachment.16

Before you ask

The four questions every developer sends us first

Does it cost anything to send a pitch?

Sending a pitch does not create a publishing agreement and costs nothing. We charge developers no reading fee, evaluation fee or submission fee, and any deal is set out in a signed contract.

What does “financing” mean here?

Development financing here means a commercial publishing agreement: where we agree to fund milestones, the money is advanced against the title and recouped from its revenue on terms set out in a signed contract. It is not a loan, deposit, security, investment product, crowdfunding offer or public offering, we take no money from developers, and we give no financial or investment advice.

Can you promise sales, featuring or platform approval?

Publishing outcomes depend on the game, the market and the launch window. We do not promise sales, revenue, wishlists, chart positions, platform approval, store featuring or press coverage.

Who issues the age rating?

Age ratings are issued by the ratings boards and platform holders — PEGI, ESRB, USK, IARC and the store operators — never by a publisher. We prepare and file rating questionnaires; the rating itself is theirs to grant.

Submissions are kept for 24 months from our last exchange about them and then deleted. The full detail — every field, its lawful basis and its retention — is in the privacy policy, and you can ask for deletion at any time at info@aftermidnight.enterprises.
