About us
A Danish publishing company, registered in Aarhus since 2017
Small, specific and checkable. What follows is what the register says and what we are prepared to be held to — with nothing between the two.
After Midnight Enterprises ApS is a Danish anpartsselskab (aps) — danish private limited company registered on 01.07.2017 and based at Søndergade 44, 4., 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark. Its filed activity code, branchekode 582100, is Udgivelse af videospil — video game publishing. That is not marketing language: it is the classification the company is registered under, and it matches what this site advertises.
What we do
We work with independent studios on the four things a small team usually cannot carry alone: getting a game onto PC, console and mobile storefronts; financing agreed development milestones where a project fits the slate; running the announcement and launch campaign; and doing the QA, localisation and age-rating preparation that decides whether a submission survives certification. The full route is on the publishing page, hour by hour.
What we do not claim
This is the part most publisher sites leave out, and it is the part that makes the rest believable.
- No portfolio we cannot evidence. No title is listed on this site before an agreement is signed and a public store page exists to check it against. The catalogue is empty rather than illustrative: an invented slate on a publisher’s site is disprovable in one click. The catalogue page says so plainly rather than filling the space.
- No partner logos. Naming a studio as a partner requires their written agreement. We hold none, so we name none.
- No performance figures. No revenue, no wishlist counts, no “trusted by N studios”. Where we ever quote a number, the method behind it will be published beside it.
- No accreditations we do not hold. Console submissions and rating applications are prepared by us and filed through the developer’s own platform accounts under written authorisation. We hold no platform-holder or ratings-body accreditation of our own and do not act as an approved agent for any of them.
- No financial products. Development financing here means a commercial publishing agreement: where we agree to fund milestones, the money is advanced against the title and recouped from its revenue on terms set out in a signed contract. It is not a loan, deposit, security, investment product, crowdfunding offer or public offering, we take no money from developers, and we give no financial or investment advice.
How we work with a studio
The developer keeps the creative call. Milestones, acceptance criteria, rights, term and reversion are written down before anything is signed, in language that does not need a lawyer sitting beside you — and the money side is recouped from the title’s revenue rather than charged to the studio. If a project is not a fit, you get told that, with the reasons, rather than being left to guess.
